Diyas are God’s way of telling us that there will always be light to drive away darkness. May the light of diyas spread joy to everyone’s life. “HAPPY DIWALI” With Diwali round the corner, the school held a raft of activities to celebrate the festival. The students of Florets International School, unfolded their creative abilities in a string of activities. Various Inter-House Competitions were organised:- Classes I–V - Diya Decoration Classes VI–VIII - Paper Lanterns/Diya Decoration Classes IX–XII - “Toran Making” Competition & Inter– House Rangoli Making Competitions. All the students along with teachers participated with equal viqor & zeal. The stunning designs of rangoli were alluring and fascinated the spectators. The colourful Diyas, Paper Lanterns and Torans prepared by the students were also one of the brilliant attractions of the competition. The Directors of the school Mr. Sumit Makhija and Ms. Nidhi Makhija, the Principal Ms. Shradha Sharma, the Headmistress Ms. Soma Bardhan appreciated the endeavour of the students and encouraged them to celebrate every festival with the same spirit and enthusiasm. The mentors also judged the competitions and gave away the prizes and certificates.
