Tree plantation is not a ritual for the monsoon. It has to be a serious priority for the community & the government throughout the year. Recognizing the key role that the youth plays in arching the way towards a ‘Green India’ and in order to inculcate a love for nature, Parivartan, an NGO organised a drive ‘Greenathon’ on 15th September 2019, near Ganga Bairaj. The students of Florets International School participated enthusiastically in the campaign. Each student was provided a sapling for the plantation with an aim to spread the message of afforestation. They also wrote slogans like ‘Nurture Nature’, Plant more trees etc. The campaign turned out to be a delightful, enjoyable and an inspiring event.
